    Hey Dude..

sorry for the latent reply! Yea, diggin' the 800 big time. Came stock with 34s..sound Killer..But, I do love my DSL100 though man....and with the two channel design, can dedicate one of the channels for solos..can't do that with the 800..

Hey, bro! I can't respond to your P.M. because it says that your mailbox is full! Empty it out and I will send you a response...or you can just call my cell any time during regular daylight hours.

    Hey man!!!

I've been working and trying to stay afloat. This time of year is rough even when the economy is good, so I'm just trying to keep it rolling. The 2204 kicks ass! I have a 1981 2204 and I love it. Like you said, that mkIII comes real close. I've actually been using the mkIII because I blew a power tube in the 2204 and it feels pretty much the same to me.I have to get a new set of power tubes for the 2204. They're 6550's. I have the electro harmonix in there now, and like them. My question before I order them will be, what's the difference between a hard and soft set. I know it's the breakup thing, but anything else? These tubes are numbered at 63, which would be a hard set. The amp sounds real strong with them, so maybe I'll go for the higher numbered ones again.
I'm going to post in the tube section.
Good to hear you have some time to relax!

    Hey Julian..

Where have ya been man?? I'm done working now until next spring so I now have plenty of time for music and this place. Jamin' in a cover band right now..and diggin' this new 2204 I got man. Don't you have one? This amp is positively INCREDIBLE man...It BLOWS away every Marshall I have ever owned...the only amp that would come close is either the 21/2500 MK3, or the current DSL100 I have...but even then, this amp is in its own league altogether..its so ****ing loud man..with HUGE balls...and then tone is very early Van Halen like..Kick-ass...

    so whats up man?

Hey bro! would you be interested in trading for a divided by 13 4x12? it is made to the EXACT spec's of a 1968 marshall 4x12 it has g12-m's in it and sounds super badass. I have been wanting an 8x10 for a LONG time. it has a couple tears in it but other than that looks great!
