I was hoping you might could give me some info on the jcm 800-900-2000's. I'm looking for a 50 watt amp so I can play it as a back up to my Plexi or as my main amp when I'm not using my Plexi. Just wanted to know what had the best tone in your opinion of the 3 different 50 watters. Thanks

Dear Cold Steal - Hi, Long time! I just got a 1979 JMP Master model MKII 50 watt head with 2 Gold Lions in it for $700. It is in pretty great condition for it's age with a few small issues. Do you have any experience with these?

Hi Coldsteal2, I noticed you have an orange amp, I have been thinking of purchasing one. How do you like it compared to your marshall? Thanks.

Hey dude, seeing as you have both a JCM 900 and a vintage modern, I was wondering if you could point out some nice qualities the VM has that the 900 doesn't. I love my 900 to bits, but it doesn't quite get some things I'm looking for, I play either old school british stuff like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, the real classic Marshall stuff, or Thrash Metal (I'd use a boost of course). I'm just wondering if a VM will really fill my needs, I'm really torn between the two, but I can only afford to have one.

Hey man, have you got any clips of the Marshall Guv'nor 2 through the JCM900? I'm interested in buying one, but I wanna know how it sounds first, I'm looking for a high gain, old school thrash kinda tone, already most of the way there with my 900, just want a little more boost.
