hey,where did you got the red snake skin tolex?

Hey mate, just looking at the nice job you did road wearing your Strat.
Any tips, I cant find any decent links on the web on how best to do it, specially best plac to sand back and how to stain the wood.

Most engaged loops suck tone. And if jimi could live without a loop so can I. And since I have bought a tape echo, there is no need of using the loop anymore as tape echos are disinged to use in front of the amp, and they sound killer there.

I rarely used my FX loops on my VM and my JVM, I'm happy I don't have any FX loops on my amps anymore since I got the plexi. Although I do miss it for delays.

When was your 1987x made? i.e. is it a pre or post fx loop model? just wonderin'
