All good. Rehearsed it with the band twice so far and everyone is digging it. Haven't opened her up or even changed the tubes or anything yet. No time. I got a TC Electronics G-Major 2 Rack Unit which i'm dying to use with it but, just haven't had the time to bring them together yet. I'll let you know how it sounds when I do.

Are you referring to the new JJ 6CA7's? I am actually thinking about picking up a pair or quad of those myself. I guess prices are going up for new tubes? They should be a 25W tube, so I would do the same as you have been doing with the other EL34's. Are you measuring your plate voltage and biasing to the 60% - 70% method?

hey homie how's the amp holding up? I'm about done with the SG but, i AM done with the BK Miracle man. we'd have to figure out the deal on it but, i'm asking $100 for it. it's 17.7k. I would also take 2 duncan JB's or Distortions or one of each and all bridge position prefered. If you're still interested hit me up man. also it's rough but, if you're interested check out my track through my signature. the songs working title is "jenomstr edit". where can i hear some of your stuff? Oh, it's a rough track and it's only me right now as i have no band.

Voicing mod. On the technical end, I have no idea what he did, but from a sonic standpoint it is a total beast now. Since I've gotten it back I've been able to nail pretty much every classic Marshall sound I've been wanting. Everything from classic 60's, 70's, and 80's (where I spend most of my time), to much more "modern" types of tones as well. Hard to describe, but it really is just about everything I've ever wanted in an amp.

It has what I thought were original g12-65s... once I got the 4x12 cab I found a site with date codes and it turns out they are about 5 years older than the amp, late '70s.
