Any luck with the buzzing yet ? There is a guy on e-bay selling a 1959RR with a "Buy it Now" price of $4,500 !!! He states that only 150 or less were available worldwide. Is that any way near the truth ? e-bay item 160531139150

No Australian, I have not sorted out that buzzing issue. Changing the pre-war tubes did not not solve my issue either. I do not want to bring it to my amp shop yet until they get much slower. I am a bit paranoid about leaving it there for a long time. As a matter of fact, when I do drop it off, I am going to just bring the chassis so that there is no chance of the white cabinet getting messed up. My amp tech told me over the phone that it could be a bad ground in a speaker jack, input jack or elsewhere. It is kind of strange yours just started doing it - mine arrived that way.

Great Avatar Aus. The Rock looks really eerie in that light. Very cool photo.
Did you use the 1959RR on the Solo comp?

Hi. Sorry i took so long. I finally found this, which gave me the basics on how to Bias using the Bias Rite.

Could someone give me the bias that I need for this amp.

With my Bias Rite I measured:
    VP(plate Voltage)=445
    IK(bias)=35.5

What should I adjust the bias to , considering that Plate Voltage?

    Re: What Bias for a JCM800 2205?
im not 100% on this, but i think its 25 watts divided by the plate voltage, and then 70% of that. so probably around 39ma, but i would wait for some one who knows for sure.
