good point more like 50lbs heavier, both sound great too me the edge goes to the mesa , something to be said for the marshall cabs though they are a staple! I always take my 1960b jamming over the mesa just cause of the weight !
You know what dude..you are right..the Marshall cabs totally pale in comparison to the Mesa cabs. The last band I was in the other guy had a standard Mesa 4x12 cab loaded with V30s..That cab was easily 15lbs heavier then my standard 1960 cab...
But it was more expensive as well...
I plugged my head into it and I was surprised at the additional low end...
I may get one someday..but I just liked the look of the Marshall head and cab together...a visual that I have always thought kicked ass...
