Not Really Bill cosby I'm trying to "make money" as the posting states for a JCM 800 and if someone would trade for it of course I would add money. Geez are there any people that can read or just post something useful other than @zzWholes o nthis Forum?

OK, here's something useful for you: Don't start the name-bashing garbage if you want ANYONE to read/listen/reply to your posts in the future.

Not really smartass people, more logical people. That's no Gibby LP, so you're not gonna get a JCM 800 for it, maybe a couple of hundred, but even that's a bit up.

I never said you said it was a gibby, I said you couldn't even get a JCM 800 for it if you had a gibby. Did you ever learn to read?

And not only for myself, but considering the great people like Marty and Viking on this forum, I feel offended you say we're the worst forum members ever. You sound like you come from the pit.

Now, I understand you may have just messed up your post, so let me explain

You stated, you want to sell for money, or for another guitar or amp, then you specified, after you said amp, in the sentence referring to you trading this guitar, JCM 800. Which says "If you want to trade, a JCM 800 will be an appropriate trade"

As I predicted... this was going to get good and sure enough, Marshall Forum members did not disappoint!!! Buggs, your analytical breakdown is superb (and right on the money I might add)!!! Thanks for taking the time to do that exercise and for the hilarity, and reality, it has brought to all of us reading.

Re: FS Schafer LP Copy Van Halen Paint Job

Dude, these are the best forum members, all they were trying to do at first was tell you that you will probably get not much money for it and not a JCM 800. Then you started going crazy and getting mad because they said that. Let me ask you this, if you had a JCM 800 and wanted rid of it, would you trade it for that LP copy and some dough or something else? If you really hate to let this one go then why would you trade it for other gear? When you hate to let something go it usually just means times are tough and money is needed. I hate talking bad about people on forums but I dont like to see my Marshall forum bro's to get bashed, especially ones like Viking who give some of the best advice and are really helpful.

Dude, dont lie on this question, if you had lots of guitar experience and played that guitar you are selling what is the max you would pay for it?

PS...who liked ostriches...cuz I do....

Its a frekkin' bolt on, flat top, chinese/korean, plywood/mdf POS junk guitar. Even new, I can't see those things fetching more than $250.00.

I can't believe the nerve on this dude to start calling everyone names so quickly. But of course, the problem is not with him, its everyone else.

Re: FS Schafer LP Copy Van Halen Paint Job

What'd you sell it for? $20 and a pack of smokes?

And actually, while it is common sense, it is also common for people to offer guitars to trade for decent amps (And I'm talking reasonable guitars for such a trade).

Also, while there's many other forums, most of them seem to be filled with jerks with absolutely no information. And before you say we're jerks with no information, look around the other forums.

No one that owns a JCM800 would even consider a guitar like that. THAT's common sense.

This is the best post in months, and if I could, I'd include it in my signature!!!

See you in 6 months, Pantyerra, when you're crawling back here to ask for advice on how to fix your JCM800 and don't want to pay a tech to look at it.

IMO, you should NEVER ever take anything as common sense when selling stuff on the internet. Post exactly what you have and exactly what you want for it, leave NOTHING open for interpretation. If you do it's just asking for misunderstandings at best, angry buyers and legal action or an ass whoopin' at worst.
