6101 combo
Hi, I'm new here and came to get info on my 6101 combo because I'm putting it up for sale.
I bought it on an impulse a couple years ago because I had just started doing bar band gigs and my JCM 800 was not volume or size appropriate. Problem was, what I was really looking for was a Fender Deluxe... just didn't know that at the time. I've used this thing a few times, and for what it's worth, I think it's a great little (but very heavy) amp, perfect for heavy rock guitar in a studio setting. I just can't justify having it sitting around the house as a practice amp while I use two others to gig with. There is also a buzzing issue with the class C high gain channel. So, what I want to know is; First, What's it really worth (all I know is what I paid at GC) ? and second, Does anybody want to buy/trade for it. It's a '93 I think based on the serial #. Blue with white logo and is in semi used shape. All corners are intact, but the tolex has some small tears that could be glued back down. It has the EV speaker and the original 3 button footswitch. |

Re: 6101 combo
I bought a 6101 (Blue) several months ago on ebay for $750 which I think was a very good deal. They seem to sell for anywhere between $750 and $1400 economy not withstanding. You wouldn't happen to know where I could get a matching 1 x 12 (the 6912) extension cabinet would you?
