EMG 81 & 85 set with wiring harness $100
These pickups are like-new. The serial numbers show them to be from early 2011, so they have the quick-connect system, integrated tone controls, etc. They were installed in a Gibson SG I recently bought. The former owner included the original Gibson pickups with the guitar. I took the EMG's out this weekend and put the 490R and 490T pickups back in it and now I have no use for the EMG pickups. They sound great but I'm an old fart and prefer passive pickups. The wiring harness is completely intact and I'm including a TRS 1/4 jack in case your guitar doesn't have one. This is a must with EMG pickups as the extra ring connector acts as an on/off switch for the pickups. The leads are plenty long enough for the SG they were in, so they should fit just about anything. Use the spade connectors on the harness to connect the pickups to the 1/4" jack, solder them up to your three-way switch, mount them in your guitar, add a 9-volt battery, and you're ready to rock. I have some extra pickup mounting screws and springs somewhere and I will include them if I can find them.
I'm asking $100 shipped, or best offer if they are still here by the end of the week. If there's no interest or reasonable offers after that time, I'll probably put them on eBay. The least I've seen these actually sell for on eBay is $110. I'd rather deal here and save the eBay fees. I'm willing to consider a good Strat bridge pickup as partial trade. I'd like a Lace Sensor blue or something similar. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have a loaded fender blacktop pickguard that I'll trade you. It's HH, pots, switch, whatever came on it.

I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'm afraid I'd end up buying another strat to put them in. I really need the cash more than I need another guitar. That's interesting though. I really like the looks of the blue blacktop strat.

I've had it since I changed to MHD pups and a 2 hole (master volume and tone) guard. Let me know if you're interested.

Yeah it's a standard HH, 1 vol 2 tone, 5 way switch. B/W/B 2 ply guard.
