DSL100 for sale. Not working.

It doesn't work. Has new Classic Tone OT. Also has a Classic Tone PT which is fried. Don't know why. I couldn't tell you whether it was good or not when it was put it. Could have been a bunk tranny, the amp could be tearing them up. The OT is fine though.

I'm sick of this amp. Make an offer.

Headbox and amp is in good condition. Nothing is torn up or road worn.

Don't ask what's wrong with it, if I knew I would fix it. It just doesn't work and I can't figure it out. I've sunk way too much money into it and I need this out of my life. I hate DSL's anyway. I know it doesn't sound very promising but I just can't get this straight. A tech with some more experience can probably take care of this with some extra time on their hands.

This amp will meet a terrible demise if not sold. I will duct tape the amp and a lit flare to a propane tank, then shoot it with a shotgun from afar. Not kidding at all. This will be taped.

I've got some NOS .30-06 FMJs that would work much better with a DSL.

It's some how funny to me that a $1700 amp would elicit such ire.

Blow it up!!!

Hey, doesn't that talk get you banned around here.

Seriously you can get more parting it out then selling it dead. You could get $150 for the head box alone.

Propane and a shotgun is a bad recipe for destruction. Pack that ****er full of tannerite and pop it with a centerfire rifle of choice. I will play Taps triumphantly on my Dual Reverb while Ken and Adrian R weep.

Ha! I'd laugh as well! I love seeing things blow up too...and would laugh whole heatedly, but not at the amp's demise, but more importantly at the defeat of those who have been, and still are under such siege...

Re: DSL100 for sale. Not working.

In all honesty this can't be a mutually beneficial deal unless the buyer is fully capable of making the repairs themselves. I'm on the shit end of the stick either way.

Either sink a couple hundred back in this heap just in hopes of selling it fully functional for $600, then, with the amount I already put in it I'm not really making anything. Maybe I'd profit around $150. I don't know. I'll post the end result on youtube.

i vote blow it up. you got some killer shalls bro and that thing's just asking for some vengeance.

or you could part it out. i know it still wouldn't garner much but some parts could be useable in there, pots, wiring and whatnot THEN blow the remainder up.

Are u serious dude? That is admitting defeat of the highest order, and honestly quite childish. It doesn't matter what it is... I'm quite sure a tech somewhere can fix it, but at what cost? They can be had in perfect working order for $5-$700.00. ..or, it could be something very simple that the OP is just overlooking... Either way the SMART thing to do would be to sell it to someone who would want it, and get what you can for it, AT LEAST recouping some of your investment..

whatever Adrian, i'm only sharing in the op's opinion and several others plus pointing to keeping what's salvageable. I think you not only singleing me out for sharing others opinions but name calling and insinuating a lack of intelligence based on this shared opinion is pretty childish.

if you'd actualy read my post you'd have seen that with my methods he'd not only get MORE money out if it he'd also still get to blow it up like HE WANTS TO

so yes i'm serious dude.

Common sense would tell anyone with a half-ounce of intelligence that blowing up anything of value, in which it does have, especially after time and a monies investment is STUPID...BUSINESS 101 BRO... There comes a time in a MANS life when he begins to think with his mind not his dick...

Could that be why your so broke all the time???

You certainly are showing a childish demeanor for someone attacking another members manhood. you're attacking me directly but what you're attacking me over is something that many people have said on this post but yeah talk about being a man all you want but you're just acting like a 50 year old toddler right now. there's several other people wanting to blow it up yet you attack me....whatever. being broke is a result of a shitty world economy and having low income. thinking with your dick...what relevance (may need to look that word up based on your previous grammatical excursions there Adrian ) does that have with regards to making a joke to which many other people shared in the humor of save one late 40's curmudgeon looking to pick a fight with one person out of the several stating it?

if you actualy have a problem with me then be straight up about it, don't hide behind a ****ing humorous comment i posted on the internet. if not then start harrasing the several other people that posted the same remark i did.
