Quest for Marshall 6100 (30th Anniversary head) Service Manual

I have all of the schematics for the 30th Anniversary amplifier, but I am looking for either a PDF or a hard copy of the Marshall 6100 Service Manual. Any ideas where I might find one?

The 30th anniversary head is something of a mother-bear to repair without the aid of the service manual, especially because of the detailed sequence in which the circuit boards and connectors must be loosened and removed. Assembly drawings (visual component-placement drawings for the individual boards) and a detailed description of how the individual circuit boards and connectors are removed and replaced would prove to be of considerable value.

I wonder if one exists.

The first time i looked into the rats nest it was a bit daunting & a service manual would have saved a lot of head scratching.

I've had most of the boards out at different times in the past & most of the proceedures are now embedded, but it's taken a while.

Thanks. Even though I actually have the original hard copy of the 6100 Owner's Manual, I appreciate the effort. Also, a PDF file is always handy to have at hand.

Even so, I am actually looking for the Marshall 6100 Service Manual, as in the book that technicians use to better understand the assembly and disassembly procedures for the amplifier's boards and connectors. (The Marshall 6100 head is an absolute monster to repair without the help of a factory service manual.)

Service manuals also usually contain sections that describe basic circuit operation and advanced troubleshooting procedures for locating defective components. The most critical--time-saving--section of a service manual, however, is its selection of "assembly drawings." These drawings are illustrations that actually show what component is located where on the various circuit boards. They also show what connector goes to what board, and at what point. This saves oodles and oodles of time by your not having to make hand-drawn assembly drawings in a back-asswards manner as you guess how to remove circuit boards and then later reinstall both circuit boards and connectors.

you best bet would be to contact marshalls and ask for phil wells if he cant help you no one can
