Loud buzzing sound-Arching?

When playing with my amp at higher volumes, when turning the guitar all the way down, my jcm900 has been known to produce a buzz for a second and then stop. Does anyone know what this could be? Does this sound like an arching problem?

At first i thought it maybe a dying pickup selector switch on the guitar forcing it onto the neck pickup with the volume up. I dunno if it is this.
