Are there tubes in my VS100?
I just got a used VS 100 head and cab. Now I know its solidstate but I've heard from a few sources that its kinda hybrid and that it has one tube in there?
Can anyone explain to me if its 100% solidstate or maybe one channel is tube? I dunno |

Yes, there is a single ECC83 (aka 12AX7) in the pre-amp section to emulate traditional valve amp tone.
Here is a link to the VS100 user guide that you can download: http://www.marshallamps.com/download...%20English.pdf

Yup, it has a tube preamp, and a solid state power section.
