Hey guys.

I've been using a JMP-1 with its original 4 button selector switch now for about 9 months. I'm looking to build a 2 preamp stereo rig. Does anyone know if the JMP-1 will SEND MIDI information when being used with the 4 button switch only? I don't want to buy a midi foot controller if I can avoid it.

I might be wrond but I dont think it can..Different signals between the Footswitch and Midi board...But try it out I guess...I think MIDI will be better anyways

Yes, the front panel controls will initiate MIDI signals through the MIDI OUT to whatever MIDI device(s) are next in the chain.

You will either have to change your MIDI OUT Mapping to send the data that device is expecting -or- change that device to recognize what's coming from the JMP-1.
