Marshall Silver Jube 2550 Half Stack Price
Hi guys, Been around the forums for a while now and see that there is a pretty big following of Jube owners and would like to get some feedback on a 1987 2550 w matching 4x 12 slant cab.
Its mint, no dings tears rips, complete like it rolled off the floor in 87. Not sure if its a pre 3100 sn or not and its got Celestion g70's in the cab. Is 3K too much. Ive been milling this over since I know a 50th will be released this yr ( although not sure what 100w or 50 it will be). I'll be taking to a tech to see if the tubes and caps are good before the Rock n Roll Roof Lifting will comence. I will post up pics and do a NAD soon. Thoughts/Concerns/ Opinions. |

Re: Marshall Silver Jube 2550 Half Stack Price
I couldn't resist, I grabbed it, she's just one hell of a sweet rig. He said a buyer from Cali would give him 3,500.00 but he didn't want the hassle of shipping it.
So there ya have it. I wont be parting with mine anytime soon, I may try a couple of V30's in the cab to see whats so special about them. Hail Hail the Jubes all here!! |

Re: Marshall Silver Jube 2550 Half Stack Price
I bought a 2550 back in october, it is a full stack no rips or tears in tolex, tolex is a little yellow in places, but in excellent shape, head, slant, and straight cab, I gave $3000. I went and picked it up!!!!! Has original registration card and everything.

My 2555 coincidentally cost me exactly $2555 after shipping.

Re: Marshall Silver Jube 2550 Half Stack Price
I'm confident that I made the right choice, the amp looks like it was unpacked last week, and sounds amazing with the right eq settings, versatile is the right word, I have to say I've never heard a Marshall clean up this well, and go to 80's rock with a click of the footswitch, another plus is that it is collectable so it should increase in value over time. Regardless I'm a Jube fan for life!

Congrats man.
Once you play/own the Jubilee---you wont want to play anything else. Nothing really compares. Enjoy!
