Tsl 60 2x12

Hey Marshall users I just purchased a tsl 60 combo. Was wondering if I made a good purchase as far as sound and reliability goes. Would appreciate some feedback good or bad. thanks

Ummm... You bought it, did you like the sound of it before you bought it?
Did you buy the amp so we would like the sound?

Have no idea about the reliability.

If you got a good deal money wise, then you made a good purchase.
I recently bought a tsl60 head and love it. It is great for metal which I play and is well balanced across on EQ across the channels. I prefer the TSL to the other tube amps I have, which are more expensive amps.

If you havn't already, try driving the amber OD channel with a good overdrive like TS9 or SD1, you will dig it....

Yeah I tried it before I bought it played it for about an hour. But you know as well as I do that when you put new tubes in amps there are some tone changes. So to answer your question yes I tried it before I bought it

hi, i think the 60 is reliable its the 100w which over heats (i think). i have a tsl 60 head and its got a lot going for it with 3 channels, but i find the sound is to compressed and may not work for me but as said would be great for metal. i still live in hope i can get wot i want from it. i may just be fussy. good luck hope you love it.
