JCM 800 2210 serial confusion

hey i recently bought a 1988 Marshall JCM 800 2210, on the back panel it states "2210, OUTPUT POWER: 100 watt". yet the serial number starts with "S/A" which every single website i have looked at tells me is a 50watt. yet i know that 2210's are the split channel 100watt models and the 2205 is the 50watt version of it. Can you please clear this up for me? the serial number is "S/A w36259"

thanks!

It's a 100 watt. When in doubt, count the power tubes. 4 tubes: 100 watts

don't get too stressed out , marshall was prone to misprints over the years,
as surfdog says , pull the back off the head and count the output tubes ,
this with solve your question , 2 tubes =50 watt , 4 tubes =100 watts ,
anyway you slice it ......great amp ! i have owned one of each.
