TSL60 channel switching interrogation

Hi there !

I have recently buy a used TSL60 at my local music shop. I'm realy satisfied of my choice. But when I tried the amp with footswitch, I discover that the amp don't switch beetween the 3 channels ...

So I called back the tech's music store, and he said to me that is normal with the TSL60...

I've verified this info in the owner manual and it say the opposite ->

Help me please, I'm confused

Yep ... I've tried the TSL100, and you can do it. We will see what TSL60 user's think about that.

with the front panel buttons (clean & od) in you should get control from your foot switch, it also says it on the panel (in small writing), but if they are out you cannot control it with footswitch.

Both front panel switches are pushed in. I also tried all possibilities just to see and the footswitch doesn't switch between the 3 chans. All is correct without the footswitch.

Yes everything light up. I don't tested the FX yet. The reverb didn't work because there was a prob in the reverb tank. The tech said that's ok now for this.

The tsl footswitch is junk, you probably have a bad one. Most people have had to replace the cable or some/all of the switches.

Yeah this is my first idea too. The tech said that everthing was verified before I got it, but seriously, I don't think

Do you think that the problem could be the connector in the back of the amp ?

(Please excuse my english, I don't talk this language very often)

True.

My friend has a TSL 60, I tried it once. I stepped on the switch to go to the clean channel, and it wouldn't switch back...ever....the switch failed.

Re: TSL60 channel switching interrogation

Thanks to all ! Now I know I wasn't crazy to think that the TSL60 should operate like a TSL100 for the channel switching. Someone here use a custom footswitch for theses amps ?
