help this guy?

>>Ok, I just got a used rivera hundred duo twleve the guy I got it from gave me all new tubes 4 el84's and 5 12ax7's so I took it to an amp repair tech, had them installed the amp biased every thing is ok sounded great at the tech's shop we had it on for a while. When I get home turn it on Sound's GREAT!!! But a very very strong burning smell is emenating from it????? Everything is working fine tube are glowing nice not hot (RED BURNING) tone's are great, warm,no noise, poping or fizzing. So can it be the new tube's or something more serious. PLease help!!!!

Is it clean? if it's just been sitting around collecting dust that could be what you smell. clean it up and sniff at it again.

Hi,
Try not to panic. If it has been sitting it will smell like the man said. If no luck and it keeps up with the odor, you had better ask the guy who did the work what's going on. You sure don't want that to go on for very long, every one makes mistakes now and then and at least you got a guy to take it to. Don't wait long.
