6100 midi service

Hello, allow me to introduce myself. I am Peter and i have the midi support site. Also allow me to apologise for any inconvieniences the lack of attention to the site has caused anyone. This was due to family health issues.
The site is back up and running and is updated and can be found here:

Pete's 6100 MIDI Support Service

I would like to help anyone solve 6100 switching and just problems in general.

Hope this helps and i am glad to be aboard this fourum.

Sincerely, Peter.

Re: 6100 midi service

amazing pete! thanks

this a major breakthrough for all 6100 owners myself included

as an EE student and electronic tech i can repair everything on this amp expect the midi/channel switching, now its great to know someone can save my amp from doom!

my latest embark has been modding the lead channel to sound like an soldano SLO while leaving the clean and crunch channels stock.

Re: 6100 midi service

Awesome! I may order to have spares handy. It's a killer amp, and I'd hate to see it go down due to $25 worth of parts.

Re: 6100 midi service

Are there mods that can be done to protect the midi circuit?

from input to where the preamp interfaces the power amp, the lead channel is now identical to the SLO's lead when the gain boost is pushed in. the eq has been had one resistor value adjusted which makes it equivalent to the one on JVM's OD2 channel.

everything, clean, crunch etc. has been otherwise kept stock.
