New bedroom furniture!

Well, it came today!

My JVM410H and 1960AV with Celestion V30's.

This amp sounds soooo great that I don't even think I am going to bother spending £250 on a THD Hotplate.

However, tommorrow I have a BOSS-NS2 noise gate and loads of planet waves cables coming so that will be fun

As you can see in the second pic, I did not give up my bed for this LOL.

Out with the TV.... and stuff.....

Now I am saving for the real deal.

Either a Gibson Les Paul 2008 Standard or the 58' Reissue.

Does your mother complain that it’s cluttering up your room, and she can't vacuum around all that gear?

Re: New bedroom furniture!

Question for you:

I got my new cables and Boss NS-2 Noise Supressor today.

How do I connect it in the FX Loop of the JVM? I connect it, turn it on but nothing seems to happen.

Advice please?

What do I need to do to make it work in the FX loop. It is the only pedal I own so there isn't anything else there.

Regards

Re: New bedroom furniture!

This may sound over simplified but have you tried switching the cables on the pedal around?

Also does the effects loop effect a certain channel or all channels?

If it's anything like the TSL, connecting it to certain loops will cause it to work only in certain channels which is why if I want to have the effect affect all channels I run it through the Loop A IIRC.

Re: New bedroom furniture!

If that doesn't help, call Marshall and have them walk you through it.

what comes to my mind is:
batteries in there?
pedal switched on?
(sorry, but sometimes it's that easy )
plus you have to connect the noise supressor to a serial fx-loop
and not to a parallel fx-loop.
and of course you have to turn some knobs and adjust
what is to be let through, and what is to be cut.

Re: New bedroom furniture!

Oh the pedal works fine, I can use it in the following order:

Guitar > Pedal > Amp input.

This serial effects loop, I beleive the JVM has parralell and serial?

How do I set it to serial?

**EDIT**

I just read the manual and think I know where to plug in to the serial loop. I will try tommorow.

Regards

Did you get any image editing software yet to make the pics you post just a little smaller?
