Good question. You'll need to research that because from what I understand those were usually commissioned by retailers as promos.

I'm not sure even Marshall themselves will help you out with that. I've contacted them three seperate times asking how many Silver Jubilees were made in 87 and never got a reply...

I don't think they could help with these limited's from what I'm told because of the nature of the edition's.
For the Jubilee though I'd call Korg USA: 631-390-6800 to see if you can get the production qty.

I'm in Ireland. I contacted Marshall directly and got no reply. It was just out of mild interest anyway, I don't care how many they produced as long as they sound like they do!!

Re: Red 1995 Marshall 2203 JCM800 Ltd Ed - How many were made?
I recently bought one of these, just the head though as the cab unfortunately wasn't available.
I contacted Marshall US by e-mail and they said they were unable tell how many were produced. So I contacted Marshall UK and this is what they wrote me: "Hi According to our records we made ten of these, the electronics are as close as we can get with modern day regulations the new one has an effects loop but they should sound the same. Many Thanks Marshall Service Team service@marshallamps.com 01908 375411 All Work On Marshall Amps Must Be Carried out By Qualified Personnel" Ten?? That can't be right... They are pretty rare that's for sure, and hard to find any information on them... I'd be happy to know more about them aswell. |

Gosh darn those Brits. They'd probably rather be drinking beer and throwing darts down at the pud than answering our silly questions.
Nice rig
