Marshall JMD and Behringer FCB1010 - MIDI Commands

Hi All!

Just bought a Marshall JMD501 and a Behringer FCB1010 to control it. Absolutely dislike the stock Marshall footswitch. Can hardly see and interpret the bank/patch lights during live performance. What I'd really like to do is:

1. Use the FCB1010 in Stompbox mode (BTW, I have the UNO mod chip 1.0.2f installed) so that the lower switches control the bank and patch - Complete.
2. Use the upper switches to turn on/off effects (Modulation, Delay, Reverb) - No ideas here....
3. Use one of the pedals to control volume - Is this even possible?
4. Use the other pedal to control effects depth (Such as modlation depth or delay depth)

I would be in heaven if all this would actually work...
A. Is this possible?
B. How do I get a list of MIDI commands accepted by the JMD head?
C. Anyone done this?

I understand that the FCB1010 is capable of sending Change Control, Program Control, and Note commands. Just don't know what the amp can accept. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Re: Marshall JMD and Behringer FCB1010 - MIDI Commands

Have Emailed Marshall for a complete list of MIDI command accepted by the amp. Apparently they don't know. All I get is how to save and recall presets. Perhaps this is all the MIDI interface can do?

So, the answer is...

The JMD only accepts Program Change commands. To have complete control, you can plug in a MIDI switcher to access all 128 channels AND the amp's footswitch in 'switch store' mode to turn effects on and off. That means you still have to have a separate volume pedal.
