Marshall 1959 model '87 year reissue. True?

Greetings to all members! I just joined to this forum.

And my first question is:

I want to buy classic Marshall and I found '87 year 1959 model for good price. I guess it's not JCM800 series, because the box and chassis is a full copy of original Super Lead mid 70's era, it have polarity switch on it and don't have voltage selector. PCB looks like as at later 70's ones. So I decided that it must be reissue model. But as I know 1959 reissue Marshall started to produce since 1988 year. So... what this amplifier is? It "right" Marshall or "wrong" Marshall?

Marshall made 1959s right up through the JCM800 series of amps. They are not as well known because most people opted for the master volume amps (2203, 2204) during that period but there are 50 and 100 watt non master (4 holers) amps branded as JCM 800s.

But mine don't branded as JCM800! Yes, I saw 4-holes JCM800s, but they are looked as JCM800 (completely seen chassis, JCM800 inscription) and not like 70s Super Leads!

If it was built in 1987 and it's a 1959, then it's a JCM800. Are you sure of the build date? What's the serial number?

Yes, I'm sure! Serial number begins with "V" letter: V00061.
