where is the model no?

I recently bought a Marshall head. It’s a mkII master lead 50w head. The serial no. is 01685m. Looking on line it says it was manufactured in 1980 because of the "m". the only thing I cant figure out is why there isn’t a model designation before the serial number. Also on the back of the amp there is a box for the model number however it is blank. Does anyone know what that means?

Do you want to know what the model number is or why it's not on the amp? It's a 2204. Don't know why it's not on the amp.
