Help with Handles & covering material

Hello there - i need soe help with my amp - i'm a beginner so excuse my naivity... I've got a bass state 150 and the handle is really loose - i can't tighten the screws without removing the plastic covers - is it just a case of levering them off with a screw driver? i'm scared i break them...
Also, because its quite heavy it often gets dragged around, so the material on the bottom has all been ripped off - is the material easy to get hold of?

YEa they just pop off i believe

Yes the material is real easy to get a hold of
Go here and order a strip of it, and if you are
worried about ruining your handle you can order a
new one if you do.

I have taken of the handle on some of mine so I can stack other heads on top...seemed fairly easy
