I have one of the newer models (2 outputs in the front panel) but lot of people says the early models (1 outout) sound much better.

Have you tried them?

Yesterday I bought one of the early ones for a ridiculous price (40$) that should arrive here very soon. I will A/B them keeping you posted.

Where did you find that amp for that price?! I looked one up right after I read post and saw one on eBay for basically $160.00.

I just sold a reverb 12, It was on of the best ones I've had. Ebay, went for 69.00. Out of 4 or 5 I've had it was a good one.
