Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
1) Jubilee 2555
2) DSL50 inparticular for its clean channel. 3) I played a Vintage Modern at GC the other day for about an hour and a half, was impressed...so we'll put that here.

Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
1) JCM 800 -- I think this is the best amp Marshall ever made.
2) JVM -- because it can handle high gain 3) 5150 -- I know it's not a Marshall but since I have to choose 3. |

Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
To be realistic: I don't have really use for huge fullstacks so:
-> my beloved jtm-series ( I acctually bought 3 of'em + cabinets) -> silver jubilee (I'd like a 2*12 combo or half stack) -> bluesbreaker combo the vintagemodern could be interesting too, but usually I like used stuff

Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
Of those I've tried or own:
DSL100 Silver Jubilee 2555 JCM900 Believe it or not the JCM 900 I have rivals the 2555 since the tube change in fact to me it's more articulate and less fizzy. I may still buy the 2555 though and really give it a whirl and if she doesn't beat the 900 out hands down, on ebay she will go but to be fair I need to hear them side by side. I'd still keep the jubilee cab though. Shipping it from AK would be way too expensive! I can't get over how I owned a 2555 brand new when they first came out. I wound up selling it.

Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
1. bluesbreaker (JTM45)
2. jcm 800 3. 1974x (some people have told me that the 1974x is a type of JTM45 but it sounds different to me)

Re: What are your top 3 Marshal amps!!??
DSL 50 - because I own it now and love it.
80's JCM800 - as long as I had a place to crank it, and a set of ear plugs an original Plexi

Gosh. Where too start. These are in no particular order.
1) JCM 800 2) 1959 100watt Super Lead Plexi 3) JCM 2000 100 watt DSL Actually I could make this list alot bigger though.
