My Jubilee had a power issue.
Had a gig Saturday night. We get there in the afternoon to setup and soundcheck. The Jub and small rack are all hooked up. Flick the power switch on the Marshall...........nothing. Hmmm, why is this happening NOW. Go to remove the fuse....the fuse holder pushes into the chassis, now I can't even check the fuse. Slight panic begins. So, I'm onstage, with the rig all hooked up, and now I have to remove the chassis from the box, just so I can check the fuse. Luckily I'm a nerd, so I have a multimeter in the car. Pulled the chassis right there onstage, discovered the nut that attaches the fuse holder to the chassis is missing. Whatever. Pulled the fuse, checked continuity. It's good. Major panic sets in (and a string of bad words came out of my mouth). What the hell is the problem. I checked voltage coming in, looks good. I flick the power switch again...YESSSSSS IT WORKS!!!!! Whewie, that was close. Put the chassis back in the box, put the head back on top, and all is well.
Still don't know what it was, but now I have to fix the fuse holder.
