My buddy has a TSL 60, good sounding amp. Be gentle with it, especially the footswitch, they're known to break easily. My buddy is the type of player who never changes his sound, never switches channels, doesn't use effects (why he got a 3 channel amp is a mystery), doesn't even switch pickups....so he never used the amp's footswitch. One day I tried his amp, I stepped on the switch for the clean channel, worked ok, but it never worked again.
The friggin' switch failed!!! That switch was probably used less than 10 times in it's life when it died. |

just chucked some new valves in v1 marshall ecc83, v2 tungsol 12ax7, v3 tungsol 12ax7, and v4 (pi) jj ecc83.
rebiased to about 80 mv and one kick ass sound. yet to try it with the band but if it sound as good as i think im gonna be a very happy chappy. |
