Choke?
In the late 80īs Marshall stopped putting a choke in there 1959/1987 amps and started using a resistor instead. What was there reason for doing this? Didnīt they think that it altered the sound and since it was easier they started using a resistor instead?

Yeah youīre probably right there. Sometimes it gets a bit to much of these it must be old to be good and you canīt improve on anything people. I wonder how many could just by ear hear the difference if you set up two of the same type of amp one with a choke and one without. Same thing with these trannys. How many could tell the difference just by listening.
