Hot Rodding??

Hello, I know this might sound like a stupid question, but it’s a question that I’ve always heard folks talk about, but never knew anything about??? I did have a rack mounded JMP-1 with a 100/100 power amp sounded good, but just too dam heavy, so I now am a proud owner of a brand new JCM800 2203 and I’ve heard people telling me “get that thing HOT RODDED it will blow your mind”
So my question is just that – what exactly is hot rodding?? and what dose it involve???

Cheers!

Re: Hot Rodding??

Wow, thanks for all the links, it was a big help the Lee Jackson Kit #2 for Marshall's might be worth checking out? no drilling I just need to get a wee bit more gain out of her. I do have an SD-1 witch does work nice for solo's but I've always been the type who like's the gain from the amp for my rhythm parts. Sorry for the late reply, I only have net access at work.
