Jtm 45 tubes ??

Hello, I have a JTM 45 and want to know the original preamp tubes used in these. Mine came with 3 JJ ECC83S tubes. I have not heard much good said about these JJ's and want to try and find some originals or some of what everyone was using in these back in the day.

Yeah, a real Mullard will run you $25 on up on EBAY. You can use a real Mullard in V1 and then use the current production Mullard RI in V2 and V3. Running real Mullards in all three slots will not gain you much. Your main goal is finding a solid real Mullard for V1.

Tubes: Let's just say they are NOS that kick ass.
