What Year for this JMP MK2 master Model 100w Lead ?

Hello
I would like to know more on my Marshall Head:

On the front panel, i have:

1 square on/off button
1 square standby button

Knobs:
presence
bass
middle
treble
master
pre-amp

and 2 inputs:sensitivity high and low

It's written:

JMP (on the front)

MK2 Master Model 100w Lead (on the back)
The serial is:
SL/A 2435J

Could you help me about the year of this amp?
By the way, could you explain me how to read the serials...
