Marshall Reverb unit

Anyone else own one of these?
Here's mine it's from 1970...

on its own

on the JTM45

This is a shot of the guts

Here's a shot of the board

I find mine to be a bit hissy when bypassed maybe this could be rectified if anyone knows how? I am thinking of just leaving it switched on and then using an A/B switch to turn it on/off

Re: Marshall Reverb unit

Looks mint! I wouldn't touch the inside, have you tried using a noise gate?

Re: Marshall Reverb unit

no i haven't i think i'll just bypass it with a looper. It's not amazingly noticeable when you're playing through it. only when it's bypassed...
