Hi,
I am new to the forum and I have a chance to buy a vintage Marshall amp - I don't have a clue what it is worth - so I am really needing your help!! The amp is a 1977 Marshall 50 Watt all original JMP Master volume model - No mod's except the power cord was replaced with a longer one. All of the pictures are very clean - logo intact, tolex is great Please help me value this amp! ![]() Thanks Michael |

Re: Help me value an amp please
I wouldn't go higher then 1000 for one of those but the post above suggested which in my opinion would be the max or right price... I say if its clean and you can get it for 1200 then that would be a good if your happy with that model. These amp were pretty cheap 5 years ago but because of the time that has passed things have been becoming more expensive. IMO I would try for a bargain around 1000. Good luck and find a good deal, that's all I can really say in the long run...

Re: Help me value an amp please
agreed batman. i have several JMP's never paid more the 700 bucks for any of them. but lets say its in pristine condition, then 1100 bucks wouldn't be too bad. but i would pay any more than that. and you can find them pretty regularly. so you'll have another chance at one down the road.
