Hey,
Dave here. I just thought I would pop in and say hey. As the title states, I'm old but at the same time, I am new to the guitar scene. I am in the process of learning and thought I could likely get some great advice and tips concerning the different types of amps. Things like the different sounds of each brand and when to use what, things like that. Looking forward to learning from all of you and maybe one day soon I can give back some of what I learned!

Re: Old...But New At The Same Time :)
That's what it's all about! Welcome aboard.

Transformers inside amplifiers were not originally designed to be in there, and the tube was not created for the guitar amp. ANY recommended idle current is a guideline and in no way a necessary requirement. There is no skeleton key for any tube amp. |

Hi Dave,
I'm new here too. Just wanted to give you a warm welcome like others gave me. Seems to me there is a lot of friendly people here with a lot of knowledge and experience. If you have any questions about your amp you have come to the right place. |
