My name is Jason im 20 years old I live in L.A. I have a Band "CEROTE" its a Crossover band. I have always loved music since birth from my father, brothers and uncles which were always around always had me listening from Van Halen, Judas priest, pantera, metallica, bad brains, minor threat etc. I started to play guitar since the 11th grade of high school. I'm looking to buy a JCM 800 and in my words..the music today is horrible and now that "metal" or "punk" thats in the media today is a load of croc. haha ...FYI its my Opinion.

Welcome to the forum! Believe it or not you're not alone. Lots of us here are into the 80s metal (myself included) and all that classic shit. Thank God it's starting to make a comeback.

Welcome ~ not all of us are into 80's rock.... I'm more into the 70's. However I do love SRV and that is definately 80s music.
