Hello from Perth Australia

Hi,

I thought I had better introduce myself. I have been collecting guitars for nearly 20 years and have only really now just started to learn to play them (long story) and I am having a blast.

About me. My first amp was one my dad built for me when i was 18. it is great but I always wanted a VOX AC30, Fender or Marshall. I am now 35 and own a 1975 Fender Twin Reverb and a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL.
I dabbled with bass guitar in bands for a few years and ended up buying a Roland DB 900 combo. This thing has 7 bloody speakers in it. I think from memory it is 350watts and can hang with all the big guns.
Anyway over the years I have collected some ,imho, pretty nice guitars and I thought I had better start doing them some kind of justice.

At the moment I am not working so it would be great if someone can help me with my playing and setting up these amps tone wise.

I am trying to get close to Richie Samboras sound and style but also be able to mix up other things when needed.

Anyway enough from me. I will try and attach a pic of some of my guitars. I do also have an American Standard Strat which I play a lot too.

Thanks

MM

Welcome! I've been to Perth twice and loved every minute of it. Met a chick that lived in Gosnells the first time I was there. Wish I knew how to find her lol.
