Beez Introduction

High everyone,

I'm Bruce or you can call me BeeMan. I'm new to the Marshall experience and so far I'm enjoying my new sound immensely. After reading through a number of relative threads, the folks around here seem very informative and also have a good sense of humor! Good people as far as I can see.

For many years, I've recorded songs and my only live setup amp was a Fender JAM amp and a Digitech RP-1. I've practiced with it in a number of bands but I tend to move around so I've yet to get with a solid group of players to write and play extensively. I've finally broken the mold and plan on getting into the live scene so I've upgraded my gear.

Now my setup uses a Marshall JCM-2000 DSL-100 with an MC412A Cabinet. My effects consist of a Digitech GSP-1101 with the Control 2 and when I get around to cleaning up my Digitech RP-1, I'll throw it into the mix somewhere too.

My musical interests vary, considerably. My main musical wiritings focus on two realms, metal and rock. My brand of metal is closer to grindcore. My rock songs include lot's of acoustic so they're really coffee shop friendly, as it were, and I've played many a night in a coffee shop. As far as what I listen to, I always answer "good music". I don't care what genre it's in, it must sound good and I'll like it

I try to share what knowledge I have when I can. I tend to be computer savvy to I speak in very technical terms at times. Don't be afraid to ask me WTF I just said You won't hurt my feelings

Here's some links to my music for download

Bee Sting - metal
Bee Sting on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

Bruce Davis - rock acoustic (haven't updated in a while)
SoundClick artist: Bruce Davis - page with MP3 music downloads

Thanks for reading about me and don't hesitate to say high. I live in Louisiana and I spend lots of time in NOLA so if you're around the area, maybe we can have a beer.
