New member from Finland

Hey everyone. Thought I'd introduce myself even though I've already posted my first few posts. My name is Jonas (isn't that a song title btw?), live in Finland and have been playing guitar for eight years. I mainly play "hair metal" a'la Ratt, Crue, Poison, Warrant etc.

Recently bought my very first tube Marshall. Thought I'd go all the way, no substitutes, so I got a JCM 800 2205. It'll arrive in a couple of days.
Next up on my list is a cab to go along with it.

Rock on.

Welcome my friend.

ANY recommended idle current is a guideline and in no way a necessary requirement. There is no skeleton key for any tube amp.

Welcome aboard. How much does an amp like that cost over in Finland.

BTW, have you ever heard of an American band called Chuck Hall? He is my friend and he plays a lot in your part of the world. Let me know if you have heard of him. He is like a SRV hot rod blues guitarist.

Moro.

Tervetuloa.

Suht hiljainen foorumi, mutta eiköhän se siitä vilkastu ajan myötä .

Great to have other Finns here, welcome.

Regards
Sam

Re: New member from Finland

Thanks guys.

I actually got a good deal on it. Bought it from a guy in Sweden, where they seem to cost a bit less. Usually they go for around 800€ or just above 600 for a combo. I got my head for 620€ so I was very happy with that deal.

Chuck Hall...can't say I've ever heard of them.
