Greetings from Tokyo

Hi. I'm Jim and I'm new to the Marshall Forum. Mostly live in the Les Paul Forum but am looking to expand my horizons. Own Crate, Vox and Fender amps. No Marshalls. Yet...

Re: Greetings from Tokyo

Play mostly classic rock (AC/DC, Zep), and blues. Noodle a bit in jazz as well. Have also been heard trying to audition for Metallica and Black Sabbath. Don't gig. Play only at home. While I think I can hold my own, my wife and kids know the sad truth...

Re: Greetings from Tokyo

Hey Jim. I spent two years in northern Japan in a mountain town call Misawa. I was in the Air Force. I spent many a night in my room playing my 1969 Gold Top. It was my favorite guitar, but it later was stolen and I never got it back.

Glad to have you on board. What model VOX do you have? Is it the Night Train?

Marty
