From the tiny island of Singapre....
Hi, I am a newbie. Was looking to find an answer on my AVT50 problem when I stumbled on this forum. I have yet to find a solution to my problem....but anyway, it's great to know there's help around....cheers

Hi Peter,
The problem with mine is that the clean channel vol drops after about 5 min when I first switch on. Sometimes it goes back to normal after awhile (say 20 - 30 mins), sometimes it doesn't. Occasionally, it will be okay if I switch off and on again. The OD channel is also affected. Could it be the 12ax ? Last edited by roslih; 06-07-2008 at 12:40 AM. |

Hi Peter, sorry for the late response. I had too much work to get to my amp. Anyway...managed to get the stock tube and replaced the JJ tube that I was using...and voila....problem disappeared.....tks a lot man....I will get the JJ tube to replace it back.
