Just joined.
Hi. I was a professional musician many years ago when I was in my twenties. That was in the eighties. I played a JCM 800 then. It had a great sound as long as you could crank it. I am getting back into music seriously now and getting good equipment again. I was playing through an AVT50X combo which was really quite impressive for what it was. I have now put together a great outfit with a JCM 2000 DSL50 head and an Avatar Vintage cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. The Avatar is a really nice cabinet, especially the vintage cabinet, and sounds huge. I know there are a lot of DSL fans here, so no need to say how great that sounds. I have a pic of my setup in the gallery.
