Bass guitar

I'll kick this one off with the first bass thread.

I bought an Ibanez SR800 for recording my own bass stuff with and because I love to play bass as well as guitar. Just been going direct to my Motu, don't have a bass amp yet really. Not sure where I would put it if I even had one.

The good think about bass amps is that you are ok with solid-state amps. The bad thing is that you need more watts.

You could buy somethng small maybe..... they are cheap.

Yup thats right. With clean sounds, solid state doesnt get the compression that makes it sound thin, as it would with an overdriven guitar.

Ampeg SVT is the only bass amp..............course i cant
afford one, but is the shizness for bass

My basses, im also a bassist as a mater of fact i was a bassist
most of my carrer as well as guitarist
