Okay, so the guy left the bass at our rehearsal space today for me to play... Now I really have GAS for this thing. The thing plays BEAUTIFUL. I figure in a week or so I'll have the spare cash to snag it.

It's a cream color... Also note that I'm a lefty guitarist/bassist. The neck is maple and the fretboard is rosewood... i plugged it into my ampeg with a 4x10 and the thing was absolutely AMAZING.
