Extremely unexpected NGD
Well, I just graduated high school. My grad party was this past Saturday. I don't really have anything I want right now that isn't really big money, so I didn't really ask for anything, nor expected anything huge. Well, I got home from work, and saw this on our table:
![]() I had to wait till my family came to open it, and inside was this: ![]() ![]() ![]() Totally unexpected. My Aunt has a Martin 12 string that's 20 years old that plays amazingly, and everytime I visit them, I end up playing it for hours, this guitar sounds just like it. Yea, I'm a lucky ****ing kid.

When I graduated I got a brush. And Dad told me to go out and paint the fence...
Congrats man, wish someone could give me one of those aswell. Really want a 12-string acoustic. |

Re: Extremely unexpected NGD
Very nice. Din't realize you were such a young'n.
For my graduation, I had the pleasure of working overtime so I could pay my bills as I had moved out when I was 17. (So I could become a Rock Star of course.) Not quite the same thrill as a new Martin. Congratulations. I'm still working on that Rock Star thing

Re: Extremely unexpected NGD
Congrats! Don't know that I've ever seen a Martin here on MF (much less a 12 string Martin), totally kick ass. Now go listen up on Leo Kottke
