Anyone play a Gibson ES 339?
Just curious. I have heard people say they are closer to a LP rather than a 335.
I will be most likely opting for a Les Paul in a few weeks as my 'Gibson' guitar. But may also be open to the 339/336 or even an SG if the right one came along with the right weight and balance. Every time I see Warren Haynes with his NR Firebird I want one of those as well, having said that it's most likely Warren's playing that makes me want one... Like if the dude from Alterbridge was rockin' one I'd be like 'worst guitar ever...'

I am always deeply suspicious of my guitar playing friends who don't suffer GAS. I tell myself it's part of being a well rounded player... The endless search for tone. |
