I play Vs and complain when the axe goes over 8 pounds. **** 11.2 pounds in the face. that is 1.5 to practically twice the weight of a lighter '67 RI... and absolutely NOT twice the tone.

Weight doesn't bother me too much my 2002 Les Paul is 10.5 pounds
BTW: That guitar - the 1978 Custom is a $3,500 dollar guitar and might fetch $4,500 sweetness

I used to have one that was 10.2 or 10.7 around there I think. I really didn't like it though and it was really not a guitar in good condition. However I NEED an original Silverburst. One of the many things I'm gassing for.
I think I've even heard of LPs being over 12lbs! |
