Eric Johnson Show

Saw Eric Johnson at The Chance in Poughkeepsie NY 8/24. Small theater type venue, real cool to see him that close. Also had Johnny A opening for him. First time I got to hear him. Good player lots of great chord work not to mention the solos. Eric was doing mostly newer material in the beginning of the show off of Bloom, even did a song that was going on the next album and didn't have a name for it yet. Then he got to Camels Night Out, Cliffs Of Dover, Zap. Good Show. Definitaly go If you get the opportunity.

I do not like Johnny A a lot. In fact I am very surprised he is on Favored Nations label...

Eric Johnson is however a great player!!!

Not sure if this is the model but this is what he was playing. Had 6 of them but only played 3. 1 had a real nice quilted top.

I mean the Marshall 6100 30th Anniversary like this one:

You can find them blue (first year) or black.

I caught him recently here in Huntington LI...yup, vintage Marshall stack and 2 twins. Great tone, and LOUD. First concert I actually wore earplugs.
